lyrics
The only goal I wanna think
Is getting beyond my reach.
This city smells like a set meal,
As mud on an autumn’s leaf…Ooohhh water
Was always too cold to swim,
And mountains too high to leap
I never took a bet on me
So lazy as I used to be
Troubles growing fast, my path spins around…I feel guilty and sick
We hardly have time to try it…before we get wrong
To try out a plan, that’s what life is made of…
Like a pilgrim at a crossroad, where the stars link to the ends,
Still and tired in a lonely place
Without a heaven or a hell a silent peaceful cry
Nothing but love can rescue us from this pain
Time to go up the river looking for hope
Feeling shivers into my bones
Trying to shift shades that have become so grey
So Long distance, looking ahead
Troubles growing fast, my path spins around…I feel guilty and sick
We hardly have time to try it…before we get wrong
To try out a plan, that’s what life is made of…
Ready to travel upstream to Manonash
In search for a truth under the sun
Bye to my old life, no looking back
Till Manonash

Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard! wafiii

They played a wonderful set at Summer’s End in October 2018 which was based around this album . For me it was one of the sets of the weekend. The record is a wonderful permanent reminder of the show. Tony Honour
